Cambridge Students to Race at BUCS Regatta

Cambridge has entered 33 boats in to the 2019 BUCS Regatta with crews drawn from the University Clubs and the College Boat Clubs.

The entries include many of the rowers from this year's Boat Races, along with crews from Caius, Jesus and Sidney Sussex College Boat Clubs, all of whom will race against boats from Universities across the country in the largest student regatta in Europe.

A Lightweight men's and Women's Eight have been entered and they will come up against Oxford, with the Cambridge crews looking to reverese the result of the Lightweight Boat Races earlier this year.

In the Championship Men's Eights, CUBC will field their reserve crew 'Goldie' who won the 2019 Reserve Boat Race.

Racing is held over 3 days at the National Water Sports Centre in Nottingham with time trials starting at 08:00 each day, and 2000m side-by-side racing starting around 11:30am.
