UCAPP Athlete Profile: Sannah Zaman - Cycling

Studying: Chemical Engineering via Natural Sciences

 

How does being an athlete make you a better student?

"Sport is very important to my studies. I find it has a really big impact on my mental health"

Sannah's sporting achievements over the past two years include placing 1st in the Junior National Hill Climb Championships, in the SERRL Cyclopark Circuit Race, and in the Santini Cyclopark Women’s Race, as well as placing 16th in the Ras na mBan Premier Women’s Stage Race. This sporting year, Sannah aims to make compete in BUCS events for Cambridge University, with a focus on hill climbs and road races, make the top 10 in the Women’s National Series, Ras na mBan, and the National Championships, and gain experience racing internationally.
