Performance Sport
Cambridge has one of the deepest pools of sport clubs and athletes in the world. We have over 75 sports clubs, and we welcome performers at every level.
Our alumni include World Champions and Olympic athletes, such as Imogen Grant, Emma Pooley, and Hayley Simmonds.
Recent Olympic Gold medallists include rowers George Nash and Tom Ransley, cyclist Anna Kiesenhofer, and sprinter Amy Hunt.
The Sports Service
The Sports Service is the hub for all sports at the University. We work with sports clubs and athletes, run world-class facilities across the city, and give everyone the chance to enjoy sport during their time in Cambridge.
Services available:
- One-to-one strength and conditioning sessions
- Physiotherapy
- Sports nutrition advice
- Sports psychology support
We cover every aspect of performance, so you can become the best athlete you can be.
