Give it a Go: Free, weekly activities for Cambridge students!

Develop your skills, meet new people and have fun!

The Give it a Go Programme offers free, beginner friendly, inclusive activities, specifically designed for Cambridge University students.

Whether you’re looking to stay active, unwind, or have fun, there’s something for everyone from traditional sports you’ll be familiar with, through to more unusual activities to try out! Get involved, stay fit, and connect with the Cambridge community in a welcoming and supportive environment.

The sessions are all coach or volunteer-led, which means there’s always a helping hand if you need it. You can attend as many sessions as you like, and there's no commitment to attend every week. 

All abilities are welcome, and it’s a free programme of activities where no experience is needed. Never tried something before? Or not ‘sporty’? No problem, this is for you!

All you need to do is book your place in advance via the camunisport app! Check out the timetable below and some further detail on the activities and venues.

How to book:

  1. Download the 'camunisport' app for Apple or Android
  2. Hit join now if you're new to the app, or login with existing details
  3. Complete the registration information, and select the 'Pay as you Train' option
  4. We'll email you a unique login pin to use the app
  5. Use the pin to log in, check out the app, and visit the Give it a Go section to book activities! 
  6. Booking opens seven days before each activity
