How does being an athlete make you a better student?
"It has helped instil discipline in my routine, I've made lots of friends, and it's a great distraction when work gets tough!"
Joe's sporting achievements over the past two years include winning the Oxford vs Cambridge Varsity 500m race in both 2021 and 2022, as well as holding the record for the fastest current Oxbridge student in both the 10,000m and 3000m races. This sporting year, Joe aims to place in the top twenty at the National Cross-Country, top ten in the BUCS Cross-Country, and place in the top five in the BUCS 5000m.
As a TASS Dual Career Accredited Centre, the support student-athletes receive at Cambridge allows them to fulfil their sporting and academic ambitions. To find more information about UCAPP, visit www.sport.cam.ac.uk/ucapp
