Sports Operations Assistant

The Sports Service is seeking enthusiastic, pro-active and customer-focused individuals to join our friendly sports service team. The ideal candidates will be passionate about sports and fitness, with a keen eye for detail and excellent customer service skills. 

The role holders will work as part of a team across our sports sites, including Wilberforce Road Sports Ground and Fenner’s Cricket Ground to ensure that sports facilities and equipment are set up for various users and that the facilities are clean, tidy and welcoming. They will also provide information and support to users of the sports and fitness facilities.

Hourly paid shift options @ £12.60 per hour are available and include daytime, evening and weekend shifts.

Applicants should have a helpful and positive attitude, excellent communication skills, possess strong organisational and time management skills, and be able to work confidently under their own initiative or with direction. Applicants should hold an Emergency First Aid at Work qualification or be willing to undertake this training.
