Want to get involved in refereeing the beautiful game?
Whether qualified or unqualified, there are paid opportunities in the Cambridge University Football Leagues!
The Cambridge University Association Football League (CUAFL) is one of the largest University football leagues in the country, with around 60 men’s and 15 women’s teams, while the MCR league has around 12 teams each year. Matches take place every week, and referees are assigned to fixtures from a ‘referees hub’ of registered referees.
The University of Cambridge indoor 5-a-side football league take place at the Sports Centre every week on Tuesday and Thursday lunchtimes.
• Referees in the CUAFL, MCR league and 5 a side leagues receive a match fee.
You don’t need to hold a qualification to join our Referee Hub, although to be assigned to matches you must have completed the FA Learning Laws of the Game module. We’ll also help you to access and complete your FA Basic Referee Course.
