Tellworth Investments To Become Title Sponsor for 2019 & 2020 Varsity Lacrosse Matches

Tellworth Investments, a BennBridge boutique, is to become the title sponsor for the Varsity Lacrosse Matches being held in 2019 (Cambridge) and 2020 (Oxford) across the Men’s, Women’s and Mixed matches.

The University of Cambridge will host the 103rd annual Varsity Lacrosse matches, with the event returning to Oxford in 2020. The Women’s and Mixed matches will be played on the sports grounds of St John’s College with Churchill College kindly hosting the Men’s matches.

All four of the 1st teams have been competing in British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) Leagues throughout the season. The Oxford Men’s 1sts have been in a league above Cambridge this year, competing in the Premier South league whilst the Cambridge Men’s 1sts have won their last 3 matches in the Midlands 1a League. Meanwhile, the Cambridge Women’s 1sts are top of the Premier South league having won 8 matches and drawn 1 this season, the Oxford Women’s 1sts play in the same league and have won their last 3 matches.

Matches are taking place throughout the day starting with alumni matches at 09:30, and the mixed team match at 12:30. The Men’s Blues will face-off at 13:30 and the Women’s Blues at 14:00.  The Varsity Champions across all of the matches will be awarded their trophies at a joint presentation at 15:30.
