Many congratulations to one of our members, Jack Perry, who made history with Team GB after claiming gold in the Under-23 World Wheelchair Basketball Championships held in Toronto this month. The final against Turkey was a tightly fought match but ultimately, GB were the winners with Jack and his team mate, Ben Fox, scoring 80% of the gold medal points for their team. Jack has been training at the Sport Centre since 2013 and is a former TASS athlete who has now moved on to the Team GB Silver Club.
