The Ospreys are excited to announce that sign up for our next Speaker’s event of Lent term is open! The event will again be held virtually via Zoom.

Our speaker will be Sue Hunt, who will be talking to us about her diverse career, including her role as Director of Strategic Programmes at the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

About the Speaker

Sue was Director of Strategic Programmes at the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games. In this role she developed and managed the overall Strategic Programme approach for London 2012 and played a key role in delivery of a widely acclaimed Olympic and Paralympic Games – IOC “happy and glorious”, IPC “best Games ever”.

Sue joined LOCOG after 20 years with Goldman Sachs, most recently as Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer for the European Special Situations Group and previously as International Treasurer for the firm. While she was there, she sponsored a number of diversity initiatives and received a Global Leadership and Diversity Award.

Sue studied Geography at Cambridge University and then trained as an accountant with KPMG and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Sue is passionate about allowing people to reap their full potential, as part of her portfolio she is a non-executive director with Impact International, a leading global learning and development organisation and involved with a number of charities, including The Lullaby Trust and Amref Health Africa which are both focussed on health. Sue enjoys keeping fit, trying new things and a sense of adventure.
