The Cambridge University Squash Rackets Club had a successful weekend at the Cambridgeshire County Championships.
Players from the club contested three of the main finals, with Ali Hemingway and Andy Whitham, respectively, winning the Ladies' Open and the Men's over 55 events.
University no 1, Luis North, played brilliantly throughout the tournament to get to his first County Championship final, but despite some spectacular play was not able to overcome a very determined and consistent performance from last year's champion and no 1 seed, Jeremy Harris.
These results, together with some outstanding performances from other squad members, augur well for next season.
