This year the Women's Rugby starting 15 for Varsity were awarded Full Blue status by the Women's Blues Committee. The Blues Blazer had been in doubt for this year, after Cambridge narrowly missed first place in the BUCS Midlands 1A. However, this was due to a 3 point deduction from their score after a rearranged match was delayed so much that it could not be played. Even if the match had been a loss, Cambridge would have topped the table, and so the WBC deemed the skill level required had been met and voted to award the Full Blue.
