A remarkable result for UCAPP athlete Phoebe (Robinson College), who was competing in the National Duathlon Championships for the first time.

Having previously won the BUCS Duathlon, Phoebe had shown her potential to compete at the top level, but in her first major BTF event blew away all expectations to win the gold medal!

The rest of the field couldn’t compete with Phoebe’s pace on the run, using her previous experience with GB Cross Country team, and after recently competing in the Cross Country Varsity, BUCS Cross Country and the National Cross Country Championships, as she built up a huge lead, which she showed great strength to hold onto while on the bike.

A fantastic result, and we look forward to supporting Phoebe to more medals and even greater heights.
