Another successful year for Cambridge at BUCS Regatta!

57 crews from Cambridge took to the water at Holme Pierrepoint last weekend, most of those from Cambridge University Boat Club, as well as several crews representing college boat clubs in beginner and intermediate categories too. Joining CUBC in Nottingham to compete for Cambridge were Gonville & Caius Boat Club, Jesus College Boat Club & Lady Margaret Boat Club.

In total, the CUBC medal haul came to 14 (4 Gold, 6 Silver & 4 Bronze) which put the women’s team into an impressive 2nd place in the Victor Ludorum (overall) standings, while the men’s team earned a respectable 5th place, improving on the finish in 2021-22, and on the overall standings Cambridge ranked 4th. 

A huge congrats to the medalling crews, many of whom also enjoyed Boat Race success back in March! The medallists were as follows:
