Sport is one of our few remaining collective rituals, and in a time of upheaval and enormous change, how can it show us the way?
From Joe Wicks to Marcus Rashford, the role of sport and exercise has been at the forefront of the national debate over the last 18 months. In their new book, All to Play For: How Sport Can Reboot Our Future, Fitzwilliam alumni Matt Rogan and Kerry Potter have taken a broad look at the role exercise can play as a force for good in our challenged society.
In converation with fellow alumni, Dr Thomas Tanner (Director of the Centre for Development, Environment and Policy at SOAS University of London) and BBC Sports Editor Dan Roan, this session will look to join the dots between a wide topic from the front pages to the back - from healthcare to education; social activism to the business of global sport.
Places are limited, so book now to avoid disappointment!
