About Us

The Cambridge University Riding Club welcomes riders of every level from complete beginners to advanced riders. We offer both dressage and showjumping lessons at two different stables: Springhill for beginner riders, and Hilltop for more confident riders, with opportunity for progression between the two as you improve. We also have 3 competitive teams (16 riders by selection only) which compete in the BUCS league and Varsity matches, and train at the College of West Anglia. BUCS involves competing in dressage and showjumping on horses you have never ridden before, making it a great way to develop your general riding skills further, and have a lot of fun in the process!  We are a friendly and inclusive club that holds regular socials and horse-themed day trips throughout the year.
