When and how did you get into sport?

“When I was 12 years old, I was tall and had long arms and always enjoyed doing outside sport.”

 

What are your top sporting achievements?

- Silver medal at Under 23 World Rowing Championships in 2016,

- 4x Harvard 1st Varsity Heavyweight Crew

- Selection for Cambridge Blue Boat 2020

 

What is your advice for balancing sport and academia?

“1) Time management: combining tasks such as travelling & eating, or travelling & work; 2) Don't be afraid to reach out to more experienced people and ask for advice or guidance; 3) Sleep 8+ hours - it will help both your sport & studies tremendously.”

 

What has the support from TASS meant to you?

“Invaluable support from TASS especially with regard to nutrition & psychology; access to excellent facilities & training staff whilst rowing with Cambridge University Boat Club.”
