University of Cambridge - Cambridge Half Marathon

The University of Cambridge Sports Service is delighted to offer a number of places for the Cambridge Half Marathon to University and College Staff free of charge as part of its Active Staff programme. You can find out more about the Cambridge Half Marathon event by clicking here. 

This year, places will be awarded by a selection panel, and participants will be categorised into one of three categories; First Timers, Just for Fun and Personal Best Chasers. If you'd like to enter the ballot for a place in the event, please complete the webform below. 

Key Dates

Wednesday 6th November 2024 - Applications open
Friday 22nd November 2024 - Applications close
Wednesday 27th November - Applicants informed whether they have a place or are on the reserve list
Thursday 12th December at 12.45pm - 1.20pm, Student Services Centre - Welcome event
Monday 16th December 2024 - Participants start their 12 Week training programmes
December & January - Workshops on nutrition, strength, mobility and injury prevention
Sunday 9th March 2025 - Cambridge Half Marathon
