Josh completed a BSc (Hons) in Sport Coaching and has also graduated with an MSc in Applied Sport Physiology. From his time of study, Josh has enhanced his understanding of the human body, its functions in sport performance, and how various forms of training can create optimal physical adaptations. His MSc dissertation study was titled “The effects of soccer-specific fatigue during the extra-time period of prolonged simulated soccer match-play on peak isokinetic torque productions of the knee flexors and extensors”, and was awarded a Distinction for it.

This work also included tracking the athlete’s progress with comprehensive physiological assessments. Josh has predominantly worked with youth and University athletes, as well as being involved with professional teams.
