"New year 2019, I wanted to challenge myself as I never believed that I could run, so I signed up to the West Cambridge runners. The group was extremely supportive, mixed ages and abilities running together, encouraging each other to complete the programme, expertly lead by James Powley and other members of the Sports Centre. I ran my first 5k at the end of the nine week programme with six other members of the programme. I would highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't run before and wants to try it or those who enjoy running in a group, it is a brilliant!"
