In a recent article from the Cambridge News, Cambridge was identified as one of the biggest coffee loving cities in the UK coming in 7th place with over 47,000 searches per year. Better than that, Cambridge’s highest rated coffee (5* on google)  is served by Kash, proprietor of Caffiend of Cambridge now based at the University of Cambridge Sports Centre.  

Kash is an Australian barista who started working in the coffee trade 25 years ago in Sydney, where he gained extensive experience in the coffee retail sector, including operating a major coffee cart at the University of New South Wales (student body 22,000) In Sydney.

He opened his first espresso bar, Love in a Cup, on Brick lane, London E1 in March 2011, which won best cafe in its area of East London in the 2015 Time Out Love London awards.

Caffiend of Cambridge is an independent espresso business with a uniquely intimate feel and has become a popular meeting place for staff and students of the West site who praise their warmth, charm and superlative personalised customer service. They use freshly roasted beans and offer a extensive coffee menu including espresso, cappuccino, latte, flat white and the now popular Genera* which they introduced to the London coffee scene in 2011.
