CURA Captain wins highly coveted Queen's Prize!

CU Rifle Captain Alice becomes only the third woman to win The Queen’s Prize in 153 years!

An amazing result for Alice Good of Emmanuel College to take home this coveted prize, the most prestigious in the world of target rifle shooting! Alice is the proud Captain of the Cambridge University Rifle Association, and was also part of the Small Bore Rifle team who won Team of the Year at the University of Cambridge Sports Awards in 2021.

Even more remarkable is that Alice only first picked up a target rifle as a new student back in 2018: What an amazing journey through Cambridge sport!
