Swimming and Waterpolo Club

Cambridge University Swimming and Water Polo Club (CUSWPC) is one of the oldest university swimming clubs in the UK, offering swimming, water polo, and a strong social community.

The swimming section runs a first team (Blues), a second team (Marlins), and a Development Squad for those who'd rather train than compete, with regular training and competition including BUCS and Varsity against Oxford. The water polo section fields two men's and two women's teams, competing in BUCS leagues and local friendlies, building towards annual Varsity Matches. In Easter term, an open water team also trains in the lido and competes at Henley and in the biennial Channel Swim.

No prior experience in water polo is required, and all squads offer a warm social scene alongside a whole-club calendar, including the annual Varsity dinner.
