Judo Club
Cambridge University Judo Club (CUJC), founded in 1906, is one of the oldest judo clubs outside of Japan. Today, it's a vibrant community welcoming adults from across Cambridge and the world, both students and non-students, with a huge range of experience levels.
Our BJA (British Judo Association) licensed coaches run a beginners course every Michaelmas term, alongside licensing and grading, masterclasses, and opportunities to compete at every level, including BUCS and an annual Varsity tournament. We train hard, but with an ethos of fun, respect, and personal development at the heart of everything we do.
No experience is needed to join, and CUJC welcomes everyone from complete beginners to international-standard black belts, whatever stage you're at, there's a place for you on the mats.
