Hockey Club

Cambridge University Hockey Club (CUHC), founded in 1890, is the largest combined university sports club in Cambridge, fielding four men's and four women's teams for players across levels.

Members train and compete throughout the year, with all four teams playing Saturday league fixtures and the top two competing in BUCS, with the Blues among the country's leading university sides. The season builds towards Varsity against Oxford, always the highlight of the calendar, alongside a busy and welcoming social scene from preseason in early September.

Previous hockey experience is recommended, though standards vary from squad to squad. The club welcomes undergraduates and postgraduates, and those newer to the sport can start with college hockey before stepping up to CUHC.
