Hare and Hounds (Running/Cross-Country)
Cambridge Hare and Hounds (CUH&H) is one of the oldest running clubs in the world, offering regular training, competition, and a great social scene for all abilities. Whether you’re a casual jogger, university runner, or even an international athlete, there's something for everyone.
The focus of our cross country season is Varsity and the BUCS Cross Country Championship. Alongside Blues Varsity, we field II-IVs teams, with our women’s and men’s 4th team being open to anyone with no limit on numbers, making us the only Cambridge sport where absolutely anyone can compete in Varsity. Despite being a cross-country club, we cater to all disciplines of running. Many of our members switch their focus to track in the summer, while others train for road races, marathons, fell running, orienteering, or triathlon.
CUH&H is open to all university students and staff, regardless of experience. If you’re looking for a place to improve your running, meet new people, and most importantly, have fun, we’d love to have you join us!
