Dance Society

The Cambridge University Dance Competition Team (CUDCT), a Half Blues team, is a student-led dance competition team running alongside the CU Dance Society (CUDS). Each Lent term, the team competes in Varsity and national competitions, entering student-choreographed pieces across categories including ballet, tap, street, jazz, contemporary, and solo/duet/trio.

Members take part in weekly rehearsals, building advanced, technical routines, alongside conditioning sessions focused on developing balanced, elite dancers. There's also the chance to perform in the annual CUDS showcase at The Leys School, plus a busy calendar of socials, workshops, and awards dinners throughout the year.

Auditions are held at the start of Michaelmas term, and CUDCT is a great way to get involved in elite-level dance in a fun, social, and supportive environment.
