Cricket Club

Cambridge University Cricket Club (CUCC) has a history dating back to 1820. Fenner's, the club's home since 1848, is one of the most famous cricket grounds in the country.

Our Men's and Women's Blues teams play in the BUCS Leagues. The season builds up to the annual Varsity matches against Oxford. This includes a one-day match and a four-day match, played at Fenner's or The Parks. Since 2008, Twenty20 matches have also been part of Varsity.

The club also has other teams; including the Crusaders Cricket Club (Men's 2nds) and a 3rd XI. They play BUCS matches, friendly games, and yearly Varsity matches against Oxford. The Women's team has a development squad too. Each team trains at Fenner’s indoor school over the course of winter, which runs alongside a busy social calendar. 

CUCC also stages the annual College ‘Cuppers’ competition, welcoming a wide range of abilities to play for mixed College teams in a limited over, knock-out Twenty20 competition. The final is held at Fenner’s and always proves to be a spectacle.
