Clay Pigeon Shooting Club

Cambridge University Clay Pigeon Shooting Club (CUCPSC) has been introducing members of the University to clay pigeon shooting since 1978. Today, it's a friendly and inclusive club welcoming students and staff of all abilities, from complete beginners to experienced shooters. Training takes place at the nearby Cambridge Gun Club, with all equipment and coaching provided.

As a Half Blue and Extraordinary Full Blue Sport, CUCPSC offers elite-level coaching and competition access alongside a strong beginner offering. Members enjoy regular weekend training, BUCS competition, the annual Varsity Match against Oxford, and other inter-university fixtures, as well as optional national competitions run by the CPSA, the sport's governing body. Alongside this, there's a welcoming social scene, from pub socials to formal dinners.

No previous experience is required, and the club is open to undergraduates, postgraduates, and University staff. Whether you're trying something new or developing your competitive shooting, you'll find expert coaching and a supportive community here.
