Badminton Club

Cambridge University Badminton Club (CUBaC) has been part of Cambridge sport since 1932, but badminton today is a fast-paced, dynamic sport that has evolved far beyond its early days. The club brings together players from across the university in a welcoming community for those looking to develop their game and compete.

Whether you're aiming to compete at the highest university level or simply play regularly, there's a place for you at CUBaC. The club runs the Cambridge College Badminton League alongside development and performance squads, giving members opportunities to play across a range of standards. Our main squad trains regularly and competes in both local Cambridge leagues and BUCS, with the annual Varsity match against Oxford remaining a highlight of the season. A busy social calendar also brings members together away from the court.

The club is open to undergraduates and postgraduates across a range of playing standards. Whether you're an experienced competitor or looking to take your badminton further, you'll find plenty of opportunities to improve and be part of the club.
