Australian Rules Football Club

Cambridge University Australian Rules Football Club (CUARFC) prides itself on being a welcoming, social and, and fiercely competitive club with both Men's and Women's teams. If you've never heard of it, Australian Rules Football is a fast, dynamic contact sport, think a running version of Quidditch, minus the snitch.

Owing to the social nature of CUARFC, we train twice a week all year round, so there's always a chance to kick a ball, have a yarn, and then head for a coffee or a pint after training. On the competitive side, we play in the National University League and the annual Intervarsity match, and we love an international trip once or twice per year. 

With members spanning four continents, CUARFC is a diverse and inclusive club. Whether you grew up watching footy or are just keen to meet new people, you'll find a warm welcome here. Our playing list boasts undergraduates, postgraduates, staff, and non-University members alike.
