Football Club

Cambridge University Association Football Club (CUAFC) is the University's home to the most popular sport in the UK, with three men's and three women's teams playing in BUCS football leagues. Founded in 1856, the club is unofficially recognised as the oldest football club in the world. Come and join its rich history.

Players train on the pitch twice a week and attend a Women's or Men's side Strength and Conditioning session. BUCS fixtures take place every Wednesday for all teams, with the annual Varsity Match against Oxford a highlight for the club and a standout event for the whole University.

Outside of football, there are plenty of CUAFC social events throughout the year. The club is open to all students, and we'd love to see you join us.
