We are delighted to announce the shortlists for the University of Cambridge Sports Awards 2022.
Across 7 categories, the awards celebrate the breadth of sporting success and talent at Cambridge. The individuals, teams and clubs shortlisted are noted for their dedication to sporting achievement in a variety of areas across the 7 award categories, which are:
- Club of the Year
- Team of the Year
- Sports Person of the Year
- Unsung Hero
- Sports Club Personality of the Year
- Outstanding Contribution
- Sporting Moment of the Year
With over 25 clubs represented, and over 20 colleges represented by individuals, the shortlists demonstrate that throughout Cambridge sport there are remarkable accomplishments to be found. While there are shortlistees whose success includes your classic sporting achievements such as trophies, medals and varsity victory, there are others whose accomplishments include creating more sport and physical activity opportunities for students across Cambridge, engaging alumni in club activities to create a wider community, charitable efforts to support those in need, and much more.

The award winners will be announced on Monday 20th June, in an awards ceremony at the University of Cambridge Sports Centre.
