When and how did you get into sport?

“At age 11, I started playing lacrosse whilst at secondary school”

 

What are your top sporting achievements?

- 4th Place finish playing for England at the U19 World Championships in Canada, August 2019;

- Being selected for the Senior England Performance Squad 2019/20;

- Gold medal playing for England at the U20 European Championships in Poland, August 2018.

 

What is your advice for balancing sport and academia?

“Playing high level sport makes me far more productive in the time I spend on my academic work. I have to be organised and plan my work for the busy week ahead, so that I can fit all my training in without it impacting on my studies.”

 

What has the support from UCAPP meant to you?

“Being supported by UCAPP has made balancing sport and work at Cambridge so much more rewarding. The tailored S&C sessions have been imperative in improving my power and robustness on the pitch, and the access to physio has made sure that I can perform at my peak capacity throughout the season.”
