When and how did you get into sport?

“I remember when I was 4 years old, waiting around the club for my father to finish his matches, so I found a wall and decided to play a match of my own. Since then, tennis has been a huge part of my life, travelling around the UK and Europe and it is great that I got to continue this in Cambridge.”

What are your top sporting achievements?

- USN Bolton U18 Winter National Tour - Singles Winner (October 2018)

- ITF Junior International Edinburgh - Singles Quarter-Finalist (July 2018)

- ITF Justine Henin Junior Cup Doubles Quarter-Finalist (July 2019)

- LTA British Tour Loughborough - Semi-Finalist (September 2018)

What is your advice for balancing sport and academia?

“If you're doing any sport in Cambridge, planning is key. Figuring out a way to fit in training, matches, studying and most importantly chill time is hard! So, it's very important that when you study, you do it with super efficiency and focus, that way, you'll leave yourself plenty of time for other things.”

What has the support from UCAPP meant to you?

“UCAPP has been has supportive. The S&C programme has been amazing, providing us with a personal and sport specific fitness routine intended for us to excel during our time at Cambridge. I have also been provided with lifestyle support to aid us in managing our time and instantly accessible physio and recovery support (although hopefully I won't need that too often!)”
