Cambridge University Real Tennis Club
About Us
Real Tennis is a fascinating game open to all. A mix between lawn tennis and squash, but on a slightly quirky court which means the ball could come at any number of angles making it a great test of brain vs brawn. We have 2 indoor courts right here in Cambridge, open all year round, and two full-time club professionals eager to teach the game to anyone who wants to learn the game. We cater for all skill levels and abilities, from having never held a racket before to the British Amateur Champion.
Students benefit from unlimited court bookings for practices, social matches and tournaments for under £100 per year. Our highlight every year is the Varsity Match at Lord's, but we have plenty of local and national tournaments throughout the year as well. Or if you're wanting to just have a hit, we're a friendly bunch to get along with too!
Training
Training takes place at the Cambridge University Real Tennis Club, 56 Grange Road, Cambridge. Practice and social matches against other students and senior club members can be arranged at any time between 6:30am and 9:30pm, though courts after 5:30pm must be booked on the day of playing.
