Cambridge University Basketball Club
About Us
Cambridge University Basketball Club has been developing and supporting basketball at the University for more than half a century. As a result, the Club has gained considerable popularity in Cambridge with well attended games and a significant fanbase. With our two men’s teams, we represent the University in national competitions as well as run a college league for undergraduate and graduate students in Cambridge, attracting more than 250 players every year. The reach of the Club is further enlarged by a vibrant network of alumni, maintained through events such as alumni dinners and traditional yearly alumni games, between former and current players of the Club.
Training
Training – University Sports Centre
Blues: 6-8pm Friday, 6-8pm Sunday
Lions: 8-10pm Friday, 4-6pm Sunday
Trials
We will not have trials in Michaelmas term. Instead, experienced players who wish to be considered for one of the teams shall contact the club.
Suitable candidates will then be invited to one of our trainings.
