Cambridge University Rugby League Football Club

About Us

In the 2020/2021 season, we will be running regular training sessions twice a week, along with a weekly strength and conditioning session at the sports centre gym.  The club is open to all standards, with a real togetherness in the squad, so don't worry if you've never played before!

We take a real interest in developing our players; whilst many have never played Rugby League before joining the club, others have been selected each year for student representative rugby. We have an excellent set-up including a professional coach and there is an active and vibrant social side to the club.

In Lent 2021, we will be competing in the BUCS South East Division and will be hosting the prestigious Varsity Match for the first and second teams. The club has a half-blue status, meaning all players who play in the Varsity Match are automatically awarded a half-blue.

Training will takes place at St Johns Playing Fields on both a Sunday morning and Wednesday afternoon. We hope to organise a training camp in Wakefield which was successful both on and off the field for the club last year.

For more information please visit our website, where there are contact details for both the President and Captains.
