GUIDANCE FOR UNIVERSITY SPORTS CLUBS
The Physical Education Department, in consultation with the University Safety Division, has developed the Health and Safety Guidance for University Sports Clubs Handbook. It aims to provide basic guidance to University Sports Clubs regarding Health and Safety Provision. It is not a full account of all duties or responsibilities and Clubs must seek further advice from their National Governing Body.
In order to help Clubs audit their current Health and Safety Provision, an Action Plan template has been designed by the Physical Education Department.The Plan enables Clubs to assess current provision against a list of criteria, determining any action required, setting target dates for completion and assigning responsibilities. The plan is available as a word file.
