About Us

Cambridge University Ice Hockey Club (CUIHC) prides itself as one of the oldest ice hockey clubs in the world.

The Club is home to three teams: the men’s blues, the women’s blues and our mixed-gender development team the Huskies. All teams compete in the BUIHA league (British University Ice Hockey Association). The Men's Blues compete in Division 1 (checking), the Women's Blues compete in Division 2 (non-checking) and the Huskies play in Division 3 (non-checking). Each team has at least 2 hours of on ice training a week as well as off-ice strength and conditioning sessions. During Michaelmas and Lent, the teams have a series of weekend matches. The season culminates with the annual varsity matches in March.
