Racing in the same event, the CUWBC composite with Myriam Goudet (Lucy Cavendish), Holly Hill (Isle of Ely/Downing), Lucy Burgess (Agrecroft RC) and Georgia Francis (Imperial College BC) had beaten the University of London BC comfortably in the opening round. They then lost to Melissa’s crew on the Friday by 1 3/4 lengths.
