CamSAN Evening - 'How to run a major sporting event: lessons from LOCOG'
Do you want to find out what it takes to be involved in organising the biggest sporting event in the world? Come and hear from alumni working for the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) over dinner at Emmanuel College, on Thursday 1 March.
Starting off with a free drinks reception at 6.30pm in the Old Library, you will then sit down to a 3 course dinner intertwined with four fantastic speakers:
Alex Balfour (St John's 1990), Head of New Media
Chris Holmes (King's 1991), Director of Paralympic Integration
Richard Budgett (Selwyn 1997), Chief Medical Officer
Tamsin Chipperfield (St Catharine's 1998), Commercial Manager, Retail
Tickets are available to both students and alumni, and cost £20 per person (including wine).
